This Homemade Bread recipe is my favorite to prepare, as it’s soft, fluffy, and straightforward to make.

Homemade Bread (No Milk and Eggs)

Whenever I would make homemade bread, I always put egg and milk in my recipe until one day it began to become too expensive because I love to bake bread and give it out to family and friends. If I wanted to continue my giving, there was going have to be some ingredients being cut, and that’s how I created my no eggs and milk bread recipe. This recipe was unbelievable because it came out tasting yummy, like my other recipes that have milk and egg in them. Since then, I have been baking this recipe every week and giving it out to not only family and friends but now strangers lol that’s how much I enjoy this recipe.

Ingredients needed:

  • Warm water- to activate the yeast
  • Sugar helps the yeast foam up and gives the bread a soft texture.
  • Yeast: any kind will work
  • Salt: gives the bread flavor ( please add salt)
  • Oil: Any kind will work, or you could also use butter
  • Flour: I use Bread flour, but you can also use All-Purpose flour
  • Honey: You can use honey or regular sugar

How to make Bread:

Mix warm water, yeast, and sugar. Let it sit until foamy for about 10 minutes.

Add bread flour to a bowl, salt, oil, and honey, and stir to combine.

Now add the yeast mix to the flour bowl and blend until a soft dough forms.

Knead until smooth and elastic for 10 minutes.

Place the dough in an oil bowl and let it rise for 1 hour with the lid on top.

Shape into loaves and place in greased pans.

Let rise again until puffy for 1 hour.

Cool on wire racks before slicing.

Ingredients
  

  • 5 or 6 Cup Flour (Bread or All-Purpose flour) I use bread flour; you can use what you have on hand.
  • 2 Cups Warm water
  • 1 (heaping) tsp Yeast
  • 2 (Heaping) tsp Sugar
  • 2 tsp Salt
  • 1/3 Cup Honey or Sugar
  • 1/3 Cup Oil

Method
 

  1. Mix warm yeast and sugar. Let it sit for 10 minutes until it becomes foamy.
  2. Add oil, honey, and salt. Stir to combine.
  3. Gradually add bread flour, mixing until a soft dough forms.
  4. Knead until smooth and elastic for 10 minutes.
  5. Let the dough rise in a warm place until doubled in size for about one hour.
  6. Form the dough into loaves and place them in greased pans.
Let rise again until puffy for about 30-35 minutes.
  1. Bake at 350°F for 30-35 minutes, until golden brown.
  2. Cool on wire racks before slicing.
