This recipe makes the best-tasting bread I have baked so far. It’s tasty, soft, and fluffy. Some people may call this recipe a sandwich bread recipe, but I call it my bread loaf recipe with eggs and milk. Growing up, my Aunt Dell used to love baking bread, I mean it was her thing to do LOL. She would bake all kinds of bread, you name it, she would bake. I never thought the day would come when I saw myself baking bread, I guess it runs in the family.

My first time baking bread was amazing, I couldn’t believe how I fell in love with it. Baking bread is like a stress reliever to me, because it requires physical movement to your body by pressing down and folding the bread dough. The smell of bread baking is everything, it will have your home smelling so good.

Ingredients

Ingredients needed

  • Milk: Makes it soft and fluffy
  • Yeast: Helps it rise fast
  • Honey or Granulated sugar: Tenderize the bread
  • Salt: Helps bring all the flavors out
  • Butter: Makes it soft and tasty
  • Flour: All-Purpose or Bread Flour is fine. Bread flour gives a chewy taste and All-Purpose help it become fluffy.
  • Egg- Makes the bread soft

Total Time 3 hours 55 minutes

Ingredients
  

  • 1 stick Butter Melt butter
  • 2 Tsp Salt
  • 2 Cups Warm milk 3 cups if you're using Bread Flour
  • 3 Tsp Sugar
  • 1/2 Cup honey
  • 7 Cups Flour 6 cups plus one for when you're kneading and folding.
  • 2 1/4 Tbsp Yeast
  • 2 Eggs

Method
 

  1. Add two cups of warm milk to a bowl
  2. Next add 3 teaspoons of sugar and 2 1/4 tablespoons yeast
    Warm milk, sugar, and yeast.
  3. Whisk & let sit for 5-10 minutes with lid on top.
  4. Add 1 stick of melted butter and 1/2 cup honey
  5. Next add 2 egg
  6. Mix
  7. Add 6 cups flour
  8. mix
  9. Kneed it for 5 – 10 minutes
  10. Add to an oiled bowl, cover and let double 1-2hrs
  11. Punch down & separate into two loaves
  12. Shape to the best of your ability
  13. Add to a greased bread pan
  14. Let rise for about 30 mins to 1 hour
  15. Ready to bake
  16. Bake at 350 for 25 mins
  17. Let cool before slicing

Now you have a Homemade sandwich bread loaf. I hope you enjoy this recipe as much as my family and I did.
