Bread Loaf Recipe

This soft and fluffy recipe is perfect for sandwich bread. I call it my Bread Loaf Recipe with eggs and milk.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 stick Butter Melt butter
  • 2 Tsp Salt
  • 2 Cups Warm milk 3 cups if you're using Bread Flour
  • 3 Tsp Sugar
  • 1/2 Cup honey
  • 7 Cups Flour 6 cups plus one for when you're kneading and folding.
  • 2 1/4 Tbsp Yeast
  • 2 Eggs

Method
 

  1. Add two cups of warm milk to a bowl
  2. Next add 3 teaspoons of sugar and 2 1/4 tablespoons yeast
    Warm milk, sugar, and yeast.
  3. Whisk & let sit for 5-10 minutes with lid on top.
  4. Add 1 stick of melted butter and 1/2 cup honey
  5. Next add 2 egg
  6. Mix
  7. Add 6 cups flour
  8. mix
  9. Kneed it for 5 - 10 minutes
  10. Add to an oiled bowl, cover and let double 1-2hrs
  11. Punch down & separate into two loaves
  12. Shape to the best of your ability
  13. Add to a greased bread pan
  14. Let rise for about 30 mins to 1 hour
  15. Ready to bake
  16. Bake at 350 for 25 mins
  17. Let cool before slicing
