Grandma Salmon Patties

These are hands down the best tasting salmon patties I've ever made! It consists of flour, egg, onion, and mustard. This is a Southern-style recipe everyone loves here in the South.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 Tbsp Flour
  • 1 Can Salmon
  • 1 Tsp Salt
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 Tbsp Mustard
  • 1 Tsp Black pepper
  • 1 Medium Onion, chopped
  • 1 Cup of Oil for frying Salmon Patties

Method
 

  1. Open can
  2. Pour juice into bowl and set aside.
  3. Add salmon in another bowl.
  4. Pull meat apart
  5. Take out the bones and all the yucky stuff.
  6. Mix around the meat
  7. Add egg
  8. Mix
  9. Add onions
  10. Add black pepper
  11. Add mustard
  12. Add salt
  13. Add flour
  14. Mix
  15. Add salmon juice
  16. Mix
  17. Add flour
  18. Pat 1/4 cup salmon into a patty.
  19. Place on a plate after patting each patty.
  20. Heat oil on medium high heat.
  21. Fry on each side for three to four minutes.
  22. Serve and enjoy!
