Growing up, I always looked forward to my mama’s dressing, and I still love it. I used to be scared to try the recipe because it always seemed tough. That changed when I got married and my husband wanted to try my Dressing. I just wanted to remind you that I had never cooked dressing before. I replied, saying, “But my mama cooks the best dressing,” he said, “I want to try yours. So I made it and it tasted just like my mama’s dressing and I didn’t even use her recipe. My mama was so proud of me. Thanks to my husband for giving me motivation and for pushing and believing in me. I hope this recipe encourages you to try and make your mother proud by making this moist and delicious easy southern cornbread recipe.
