Shrimp Scampi dish was created in the 1920s and became popular in United States and abroad after World War II. It was first made in Italy where the Shrimp was used as a substitute. The word Scampi is an Italian word, Shrimp Scampi can be enjoyed with noodles or rice. My favorite thing about this dish is you can cook it for lunch or dinner. This shrimp recipe is so quick and easy, it only takes 10-15 minutes to cook.

The first time I made this dish my teenager loved it and ask could it be on our weekly menu. This recipe only need lemon juice, butter and seasoning. You can use any kind of shrimp, I prefer to peeled and devein the shrimp myself. To make this recipe easier you can buy the already peeled and devein and it will be just as tasty.
